Get to Know Lisa Miller

Born with a can-do, positive attitude, She spent her formative years in Los Angeles. After receiving her BA at UCLA, and Master’s degree at USC, she forged a career managing international programs at the USC Marshall School of Business.  In 2003, she decided to gather up the lessons learned in higher education and re-position her talents in the world of San Francisco real estate. After 15 years, She solidly built her business on repeat and referral clients and is humbled to find herself ranked among the top producing 1% of San Francisco agents.

“I combine my real estate knowledge with caring client service to create winning transactions. Because I develop close relationships with my clients, I take my fiduciary responsibility for their needs very seriously. The success of their real estate transaction is in my hands and I am highly skilled in offering knowledge and reason during an emotional moment,” she says.

Lisa has been with Sotheby’s International Realty for several years and soon after formed a partnership with her husband, Steve Houd. Together, they share their combined knowledge and experience working in the business, owning and remodeling a home, and managing investment property in San Francisco. Her family includes her wonderful step-kids (and their spouses) in Colorado, her beloved Josie, a Coton de Tulear, and her newer addition, Buster, a Cavapoo.  In those rare moments when she’s not working, Lisa loves to play tennis, ride her Peloton, snowboard, and travel. She contributes a portion of her commission from each transaction to NAMI San Francisco, an organization that helps families and individuals affected by mental health conditions build better lives through education, support, and advocacy.
